Arizona & California
‘m getting on a jet plane tomorrow afternoon for a much-anticipated trip to play in the Chandler Jazz Festival and teach some extremely talented students at the East Valley Yamaha School. This will be the third year that I’ve represented EVYS in the festival and I’m bringing my friend, Phoenix-native Lucas Pino along to help me out. It should be a great performance!
From there, I’m travelling to my home state of California to do a couple of performances. I’m playing a private event Sunday afternoon, and then a concert with the jazz bands at Irvine High School on Monday evening, April 2nd. I hope to see you there, Irvinites!
New Hal Leonard Sheet Music
Check out my new piece, “Big Band Shout,” which includes teacher accompaniment. It’s appropriate for students with roughly one year of piano experience.
